We need help colocating our servers and create a site to site connection. What is your best practice and how can you help?

We colocate our clients’ servers to Tier-3 data centers. At the moment, we are supplying and implementing Fortinet solutions for the site to site connectivity. Our best recommendation is (if there is budget) to create the new server infrastructure in the data center while keeping the current servers operational in the HQ. This way the switch to colocation can be done during a weekend and if things do not work then failback is very obvious and easy.
